Guide To The Toaster Convection Oven

If you have been shopping around for a toaster oven, you might have noticed the more fancier models include a feature called "convection".  Take a closer look and you will notice a fan in all the ovens with the convection feature.  The convection oven feature is a very important feature because it balances the temperature evenly in the oven.

Without a convection oven, the oven will be hotter near the heating elements and the food doesn't cook as evenly.  With the fan, the heat is circulated around the food.  The convection feature has many benefits:

Food will cook on average 35% faster in a convection oven.  This saves you time and energy.  Since the temperature is balanced, it doesn't take as long for the heat to penetrate to the other side and to the center of the food. 

Food is Bigger and Juicier
Faster cooking means that the food in the oven won't dry out as much.  With the food keeping more of its moisture and juices, your chickens will turn out more juicy and larger since it won't shrink as much.
